Will you stay on this tour and continue to rock my world?

So now that we've established that Keith Richards is the coolest person that has ever lived, I would now like to introduce a more serious query. Does Bret Michaels have a Ph.D in Psychology?

I've been a Poison fan since I was 16 years old, and I'm happy to proclaim that I've always known there was that little something special about Bret--be it that cowboy hat/bandana combo, those glossy lips and hint of eye-liner on the pretty face of a 45 year old man, the appeal of his beer drinking, sports watching, rock n' roll playing all American badass who's actually a really nice guy who loves his daughters and has Diabetes... and now America finally shares that vision, what with Rock Of Love being on its third successful season. Bret's incredible social commentary on his wanna-be girlfriends is perhaps my favorite part of the show. Or maybe it's that sincere look he gives when it's down to two busty scantily clad 24 year old blondes, and he's got to break one of their hearts. Either way, this man is a genius.

God Bless You Bret Michaels.

Tin-Tin Tatouages...

Two heavily tattooed ladies vacation together, on their itinerary? The best local shop, of course! We decided we needed a "bro tat" and we were going to Tin-Tin's to get it. We knew it was a long shot considering we were just going to walk in. Lucky for us, the shop's manager, Rachel is the nicest I've ever come across. Not only did she make sure we got a tattoo appointment for the following day, but she also checked the open hours at a few tourist spots we wanted to hit, and recommended some great restaurants. Thanks again, Rachel!

We loved the Pere Lachaise Cemetery, and found our tattoo inspiration there. This winged hour glass is at all of cemetery's entrances.
Our appointment was with Alex, and here he is working on our drawing.
Tin-Tin showed up when Alex was just about finished with my tattoo. What a character! He made a game of guessing who did all of our work, and got most of it right. He shared pictures of his recent work, and invited us upstairs to his work space for coffee and "smoke". I just had coffee. Ha. The whole staff was super accommodating and very friendly. We had a great time.

Tin-Tin hard at work.

Rachel & Tin-Tin. Smoke break.

My tattoo finished.
Nichole's tattoo finished.

I'm in love with my car

Well, actually, I do love my Volvo, but this post pertains to the curious fact that I seem to be most photogenic (and perhaps vain) whilst driving. I do not encourage said practice for it is most certainly unsafe, but it seems to work for me. Perhaps I photograph well in the car because it is the place I feel most at home. Words cannot possibly do justice the elation I feel when driving on a brilliant spring day, sunroof open, windows down, AC blowing ever so slightly, a chilled bottle of Evian at my side and I'm all alone blasting a Stones record. I've always mused that all I need to be happy is a full tank of gas and my CD collection. It's not so far from the truth.

King Is The Man Who Can

Darling readers, I ask of you only one question, rhetorical as it is:

Has there ever been a human being cooler than Keith Richards?
