Last Saturday Katie from Pulse took me on an awesome date! She whisked me away to Boston and the Museum of Science to see "Harry Potter: The Exhibition".
In this amazing exhibition, guests will get an up close and personal look at the artistry and craftsmanship that went into creating the iconic props and costumes that appeared throughout the Harry Potter films. These authentic artifacts will be displayed in elaborate settings inspired by locations from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry including the Gryffindor common room, Hagrid’s hut and the Great Hall. -Taken from the Museum of Science Website
It was the last weekend it would be on display so the museum was a little too crowded for my taste, but it was so fun anyway! Unfortunately, they do not allow photos inside, so you'll have to take my word for it when I say it was awesome. Wicked awesome!
There is of course an extremely large and over priced gift shop at the end of the exhibit. I tried on the Sorting Hat and Katie got us some rock candy. And what's a trip to the Science Museum if you don't check out the dinosaurs?
After spending the entire afternoon in the museum learning about; dead animals, optical illusions, magnets, and weather. We were starving and in desperate need of cocktails. Katie wanted to bounce and bend light, but we had to fight off too many children to get in there. So we retired to the nearest restaurant for a relaxing dinner. I'm suggesting a stroller free adult swim to the science museum.
Thanks to Katie for the great girl date! She's always doing such nice and thoughtful things for me! XOXO.
