We recently tried to place our regular order for Pelikan Drawing Ink. Our distributor told us that the ink had been "discontinued". In the interest of our Pelikan customers, I decided to do some further research, and possibly find a new source of Pelikan distribution. It took only a few emails to discover that the manufacturer of Pelikan Drawing Ink will be "no longer selling to the tattoo industry". That's right folks, "NO LONGER SELLING TO THE TATTOO INDUSTRY". I'm not sure exactly why they would give up the business this industry has provided them all this time, but I seriously hope it has a negative effect on their bottom line. If you are a Pelikan user, you will probably still be able to find the ink at your local art supply store. But why support a company who no longer supports you? They've already said our money's not good enough. There are plenty of black inks on the market, and in my opinion, any one of them is a better choice than Pelikan.
