My Birthday weekend

My day began with coffee and cake with my lovely neighbours then back to bed for a bit of telly.  My health kick has gone out of the window this weekend.  Not that it was going particularly well.  I managed to juice every day but haven't actually got on the Wii Fit again... yet!

Another surprise parcel and a New Year MOT

I received a parcel from my gorgeous friend Vix.  She is amazing at hunting out a bargain and puts me to shame with my Ebaying.  Vix sent a card saying "I was rummaging in my favourite charity shop and found these, thought of you straight away." 
They look lighter with the flash on but I was trying to show the diamante.  I love a bit of sparkle.

Boringly I have a cold, it came back this morning.  The paracetamol masked it for a bit.  I'm seeing if I get a second wind to go out.  I'd really like to and I want to see Phoebe and Giles but I don't want to get worse or give it to any of my friends.

It's The Actor's Birthday today

It's The Actor's 40th Birthday today!  He's catching up with me at last.  I'm eighteen months older than him... so he's not exactly a toy boy!

Why is it SO difficult for men to tell you what they'd like a presents?  I have no problem coming up with something, yet they just umm and ahh about it for ages and still can't come up with a single thing!
