My Valentine's day

Photography by Tom MunroNatasha Poly
Readers of my blog will know I've gone a bit mad on sequins lately.  I also like a bit of dressing up.  I don't care how silly I look and thankfully neither does The Actor.  Inspired by this picture of Natasha Poly in a pair of sequinned knickers I thought I'd get something new to pop on for Valentine's Day and managed to find a similar pair on Ebay.

Here's a few pictures I had knocking around.  I love the bed Kate is reclining on and the simplicity of the shot of Marilyn.

My monochrome wardrobe

Photography by Miguel ReveriegoNatasha Poly - What a brilliant outfit!
I am still on the humungous task of sorting out my wardrobe.  I'm trying to put it into sections and swapping the wooden hangers for the new slim velvet one which allow me to cram even more in.

I've lived in my house for thirteen years and have been buying things on Ebay since I moved in.  The Actor says it's like Christmas

Pictures I love

Photography by Schohaja
I love this shot of Anna Selzneva, Freja Beha Erichsen and Natasha Poly backstage at Chanel haute couture, AW10.
All three of these models are amazing.  Ruth at Life, the Universe and all that's in it quite rightly said in a post she did earlier that Freja's August 2010 Vogue cover, shot by Josh Olins is one of the best they've done for a long while.

I thought Ricardo Tisci's presentation for Givenchy Couture was so breathtaking I had to post a few pictures.
Tisci's signatures are dégradé, lace, ostrich feathers and fringing.  The hours of work that went into creating each piece is astounding.  This is explained fully in the lovely Tim Blanks write up on Style.com.  To
