Mad on monkeys - monkey lamps

I absolutely love monkeys.  I love all animals but I've always had a thing about monkeys.  This is my favourite - the Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey. They come from China and are very rare.  They feature in an amazing programme called Wild China that blew me away.  I blogged about it here along with The Instructions of Life by the Dalai Lama.

Jake and Nicola's Hollywood Birthday party

My gorgeous friends Jake Maskall and Nicola Hayles celebrated their 40th Birthday's with a joint party at Grand Union in Farringdon on Saturday night.  The theme was Hollywood glamour, any excuse to dress up.  Of course I had no trouble finding something to wear, I had too much choice.  It's day wear I have a problem with.
