Charlotte and Navin's wedding weekend

Photography by Britt SpringCharlie and Nav
I finally have the time to blog Charlie and Nav's wedding weekend.  We were going for three days but of course I packed enough for a two week holiday and arrived at The Actor's at 2am.  After about an hour and half's sleep his alarm went off at 5.50am to drive to Somerset before we hit the London rush hour.  I never, ever get up at that time, I'm more

I'm off to an Indian wedding

The beautiful Aishwarya Rai
Firstly I'd like to apologise for being such a terrible blogger of late.  I've been finding it difficult to apply myself at the moment and time seems to be flying by.  I desperately want to catch up with everyone but it's taking me forever, not helped by the fact that I like to read everything properly.  I will get there and I really appreciate all your fantastic

My excellent night out

Last night I had an early dinner with The Actor at our friend Elaine's fabulous restaurant - A Little of What You Fancy.  I know I keep blogging about it and it certainly doesn't need any publicity as it's packed every single night.  I can barely get a table and often have to get take-away.

I drank Sipsmith gin and tonic and The Actor had red wine
We both had the roasted red pepper, tomato and

More of my wardrobe - Hooded cape

This Elsa Martinelli picture was the inspiration for this buy
I know it's not the weather for this sort of thing but I'm sorting out random bits from my wardrobe trying to decide what to keep.
We've had a gorgeous sunny day here in London.  The Actor and I went to Broadway Market to run some errands and he ended up insisting I had a few Bloody Mary's and some Mexican food with him.   He can't

Giles collaborates with Nine West. And meet Eek

Photography by Sølve SundsbøGiles in the latest issue of LOVE magazine sporting an Eek manicure
Last night I went to the press launch for a collaboration with Giles and Nine West.  Named "Shoelaborations" the latest tech-based capsule collection by Giles will be in stores in the Autumn.
Fred Allard, Nine West Creative Director, said, "Giles Deacon is a design visionary who has a unique

I try and improve a bad Ebay buy

I borrowed this red and silver sequinned number from Mrs Jones Emporium, I thought it would look alright with a pair of shorts.  I bought something similar on Ebay before Christmas but it's a bit of a turkey.  I shall be showing you some of my Ebay buys for a while as I'm not spending, most of them are successful. Hope you don't all nod off.

I love the blouson sleeves and the buttoned cuffs.

And now for something beautiful - Nick Knight for V magazine

Photography by Nick Knight
I really don't the pictures on my previous post on The Apprentice so I wanted to put up something I do like.
I've always loved Nick Knight's work, I'm doing piece about him soon.  I came across this shoot on The Fashion Spot earlier.  Nick always breaks new ground in photography and I think these watercolour shots are beautiful.

Ridiculous Ebay buy of the week number two

This is ridiculous Ebay buy of the week number one.  A showgirl suit modelled by Tallulah my mannequin.  Like my sitting room's not camp enough already!

Ridiculous Ebay buy of the week number two.  A feather and sequin headress

I "won" it for £12 on Ebay

I have no idea why either.  I just thought it was fun!  Another one for the dressing up box.  I know I'm crackers but I can't resist stuff

Another great party at Mrs Jones Emporium

Kelly Love looking amazing in a new Mrs Jones creation.  This is the first picture I took at the party.  I could have taken a lot more but I was too busy chatting or flying around.
I love the legs!
Lovely Jenni in jacket and tail worn by Ana Matronic and Mrs J leather hotpants
Zoe Belucci looks brilliant in the Big Fat Gypsy Wedding dress.  Katy Perry's red light-up dress is on the mannequin

Polly Borland, pictures I love and some more hoods

Photography © Polly Borland and used with her kind permissionAlison Goldfrapp
This is one of my favourite pictures.  I think it's beautiful and I love Polly's glittery backgrounds.  Alison is wearing a red hooded cloak by Mrs Jones which sort of follows on from yesterday's post.
Polly Borland is a fantastic photographer and always breaks new ground.  I did a piece about Polly HERE.  Polly's

Come and get dressed up by Mrs Jones on Friday!

This Friday Mrs Jones is having a party and a sale at her fabulous studio in Clerkenwell.  If you fancy coming along please drop me a line.

I may be biased as Fee is my best friend but she is the most wonderful, talented and hilarious person you'll ever meet.  I love her to bits.
Do you fancy being dressed up in one of Fee's creations?

Lizzie, Vicky from The Drama Parlour and I will be there

Dior Addict and some sunglasses

Photography by David Sims
I've always been a fan of Kate and I think she looks fabulous in the new Dior Addict lipstick ad.  It was directed by Jonas Akerlund the man behind the video for Telephone by Lady Gaga featuring Beyonce.  The track in the Dior ad, All You Need Is Now was exclusively remixed by Duran Duran.

Kate wears the shade Diorkiss 573 in the new campaign.  There are 44 shades of

Lucy in Disguise and another new hat

Photography by tbcSarah Owen and Lily Allen
Firstly I've decided to only post once a day from now on.  I have enough trouble keeping up with all the blogs I read let alone expecting anyone to follow me more than once a day.
My good friend Sarah Owen and her sister Lily Allen opened their gorgeous boutique Lucy in Disguise last year.  I went along to the opening and have been meaning to go back

In the mood for red

Photography by Andy WarholLiza Minelli
I woke up today and the sun was out.  I was looking decidedly pasty and I haven't washed my hair since Saturday evening for the Mad Men party.  The only thing for it was to put on  some slap, throw on some Batiste dry shampoo and some Clynol hair shine and something in my favourite colour - red.

Mad Men party

On Saturday night we went to our great friend Benedict Wong's Mad Men party to celebrate his 40th Birthday.
I was ready on time for a change.  The Actor was late as he had to eat, iron his shirt and polish his shoes.  I ended up having a sandwich and two glasses of chocolate milkshake (always good for stomach lining!).   I was going to get him to take some pictures of me but it was 10.45pm when

Dressing up with Mrs Jones

Every time I go into the studio for a meeting I always end up getting dressed up by Mrs Jones.  There are so many fabulous clothes and accessories in there you just want to try stuff on.  I'm usually sitting around in the office in a showgirl headdress or something.  Here I'm wearing a huge feather boa that Fee bought in LA.

Accessorised with the most mental glasses.  They have patterned

The Stylish Blogger Award

Thank you very much to everyone who gave me the Stylish Blogger Award. The first person was the gorgeous Fay at Melange Et Moi and the last was the lovely Filipa at Feathers of Inspiration - thanks girls.  This award has been floating around for a while and a number of my wonderful blogger friends have passed it on but my memory is so shocking I can't actually remember who gave it to me.

Sort yourself out with Mrs Jones

Leopard dress from Mrs Jones lookbook
On Saturday Mrs Jones, along with hairdresser Victoria Saunders and Kelly Love did an event in Shoreditch where people came along to be dressed up.  They will be at festivals doing the same thing next summer.  Keep your eyes out for a van with 'Sort Yourself Out Love' on the side!

It was great fun and there were lots of people tearing around in mad

A huge thank you to Vix

My new vintage hood - I love it so much!!
Yesterday I did a post about Vix at Vintage Vixen whose blog I'm addicted to.  When I came back from work there was a surprise parcel waiting for me from Vix.  She must be psychic as she had no idea I was posting about her and she'd obviously sent it a few days previously.
Inside was an absolutely gorgeous vintage Thirties hood.  Vix knows I love hoods

A big thank you to Alex

A beautifully wrapped box arrived in the post from the delightful Alex at Odd Socks and Pretty Frocks.  I am an avid follower of Alex's blog.  I love to read about her life, see all her bargain finds and the wonderful things she creates.
Alex has been making some gorgeous pom pom necklaces and headbands which I've been admiring. Alex very kindly made one for me.  I love it as a headband but
